Plan on attending the North Carolina State Florist Association’s 2023 convention . The dates are August 11^th through the 13^th. It will be at Embassy Suites in Greensboro, NC. Our theme this year is “CELEBRATE, IT’S WHAT WE DO!!!”.

We as designers touch lives in many ways. We help celebrate births, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, accomplishments, milestones in life and at the end, celebrations of life. Our convention programs this year are going to be centered around these celebrations and how fresh flowers and our designs can make an impact.

We will also celebrate our industry’s past, present and future. This is our 101st year as an association. Get ready to learn new things, meet new friends and celebrate what we do!!!

Any Convention Ticket holder is admitted on condition, and by use of this ticket agrees that:
A: this ticket constitutes a revocable license to enter the facility and observe the event for which this ticket grants admission ("Event");
B: the holder is allowed to transmit or aid in transmitting any information about the Event, including but not limited to, any picture, video, audio, or reproduction concerning the Event (including pre and post Event activities); however,
C: the NC State Florists Association will retain exclusive ownership of all copyrights and other proprietary rights to the Event and Event Information and/or including all items described in item B above. The NC State Florists Association is not responsible for any monetary compensation either direct or indirect involving pictures and/or video content that is recorded at said event(s), unless directly contracted with the approval of the NCSFA Executive Board.
D: the holder grants unrestricted rights to use the holder's likeness incidental to any broadcast, telecast, photograph taken, or other transmission or reproduction in connection with the Event or otherwise to the participating artists, promoters of the Event, and all entities affiliated with the Event, or their respective agents.
E: the holder holds harmless and discharges the sponsoring association from any and all actions, claims and demands which might arise out of an accident, casualty, or occurrence during said convention.
F: convention Ticket purchases are non-refundable, but are transferable. If you decide you can't attend, you are allowed to sell your ticket to another person or transfer it. You need to contact us to let us know the name of the person the ticket was transferred to so we can edit the name on the printed ticket.

Make sure to bookmark this page and check often for new additons including the finalized convention schedule including floral competitions and more detailed design programs that can be attended by your guests for a minimal cover charge.

There’s NO age limit for entering competitions but you do have to be either an ACTIVE member with a convention ticket or an employee of an ACTIVE paying member shop. If you’re only able to attend one day, it is allowed for you to enter a competiton held on that day if you have an ALL DAY ticket for the same day. Most competitions are on Friday so you’ll need to acquire either an ALL DAY FRIDAY including banquet ticket or an ALL DAY FRIDAY ticket without the banquet. These are available on the Members’ Tickets page where you’ll need to be logged in and ACTIVE *

Annual Convention rules created by the NC State Florists Association Rules & Policy Committee require that any person volunteering at the annual convention must possess either an All Pass ticket (Guest or Member), or an All Day ticket for the day they're volunteering to help. If a volunteer does not acquire such ticket for the convention, they will not be allowed to volunteer.
